There are pictures of the Rafale flying with the Damocles targeting pod but I can't find them anymore :(

As said previously, half of the job was made to qualify GBL and the pod on Rafale. They could show the capability if necessary but the job wasn't finished because nor the AdA neither the MN needed GBL yet (they already have the M2000D and the SEM for that)

But since the AASM is late, they integrated quickly the GBU12, 16 and very soon 22.
They didn't qualified the Damocles pod on Rafale; probably that it needs more tests to do so and they don't need it.

Or switch to JDAMs.

We have better: AASM

To sum AG ordonance: Apache, Scalp-EG, AASM, GBU12, 16, 22.

After it depends on the customer requiest.

AA ordonance qualified: Mica EM, Mica IIR. And that's all :(

They say that they can integrate easily ASRAAM, AIM9-X and other AMRAAMs but they are too stingy to fund the integration in order to show it to potential customers :rolleyes

Cuz' I don't believe i'll be that easy, specially for BVR weapons (AMRAAM)

Of course, the Rafale will have the Meteor after 2011 / 12

It'll come with the new AESA antena (DRAAMA program). Probably with GaN components (KORRIGAN program). Production begin in 2010 and it'll be available in 2012.

Think by yourself. If you don't, someone else is gona do it for you
