Perhaps, but not many would believe even now that Pakistan pulls-off from thin air a cruise missile, fired from TEL, with 500km range, with TERCOM. One could perhaps believe Chinese with their expertise in space and missile tech doing it, but Pakistan..., well..., an interesting idea. If true, there is no reason to believe that PAF would not unveil the first flight of a fighter that can outperform F-22 in the next few weeks that takes-off vertically, goes to the other end of China, fires an LGB and an AMRAAM and gets back and lands on PNS Tariq.

JF-17 out performing F-22 .. hahaha .. No I am sorry we don't have that 5 generation fighter plane construction qualities in Pakistan since we have not been mass producing any combat fighter planes in our past.

However, as so many have pointed out towards LCA having edge above Mirage 2000 + having all these gadgets which were suppose to be of the technology equivalent to F-22. I think it is because India has been producing fighter planes since 1950's (Vampire, Gnat, etc. etc.).

As for "thin air" !!.. stop having views of Hindustan times, do a google search or even use google earth and realize how many military production complexes (shame we don't have such for our civilian industries) Pakistan has been keeping. The TOT might have been imported but mass production, integration and export is no "thin air" feat !

I also remember on the show cause of Babur CM by Pakistan, majority of Indian forums were claiming it to be a repainted Red bird Chinese CM, without having a clue to their own claims ! Of course we should also not remember how Indian missile negotiators removed Cruise missile category for forewarning intimation to each other in case of any country doing a missile test. The intelligence dept of India had not a clue that Pakistan was quietly working on this project too with any fanfare.

The vilification of pakistan in western media and the continued dependence of Pakistan on US monetary loans and military goods must continue

Yes, Sukhoiman this is the true present ball and it would be up to Pakistan to break out of this shakle. Let's see what happens in the next decade, the best part is we have a thin chance against grim chance in the last decade !
