I'm not presented with new information either. The fact of the matter is neither one of us knows what actually happened there yet insist our estimation is more correct because it matches our pre-existing world view better.

Unless you took an active part in taking down that drone and haven't told us, that is.


For that matter, I recognize you *could* be right about the China/Iran tech thing, but it sounds like that if you boil our arguments about it down, it comes down to me saying 'this is how things have been' and you saying 'that doesn't necessarily mean things are still like that'. While you have a point, it also doesn't mean things are necessarily you way, either; and with the lack of any real evidence to the contrary, sticking to what's been true statistically in the past seems like a logically sound assumption to me.

As a follow up, I'm not doubting your claims on China's ability to build supercomputers; but stealth in an entirely different avenue of research. I'm sure they'll get there eventually, but I doubt they're there with this particular copy. Rememeber my whole dissent is about the title's use of the word 'superior', especially without any evidence.
