You're an Idiot. Saddat's top Generals REFUSED to break from their defensive position to go on the offensive in order to relieve pressure that Israel was putting on Syria. Saddat fired all these Generals. This Egyptian Defensive line was a meat grinder that was making mincemeat out of the IDF.
The real reason that idiots like you either refuse to believe or accept...is that the defensive line corresponded roughly to egyptian SAM coverage.

Any further advances would have been picked off by the IAF...and supply lines would have been destroyed.

It didn't stop the israelis from breeching the defensive lines later in the war and advancing on Cairo.

Israel adapts, the Arabs stay with their fixed battleplan. This time they at least had a good initial idea (unlike 1967)..and went on the offensive...but it was still ultimately failure (look at the positions when the ceasefire was declared.)...although Sadat did improve his image and was able to negotiate a peace treaty with Israel from a better position than before.

Saddat's decision to break from that line made life a lot easier for Israel. Saddat sacraficed his own military to make Syria's job a little easier and it didn't even help that much. I mean what kind of retard fires a Generals that have destroyed more IDF Tanks, IAF Planes, etc than any Generals in Arab history? A retard like Saddat I guess.
Sadat was trying something....people make mistakes.....he was obviously overconfident ...or underestimated the strength of the IAF.

That still doesn't make him a jewish mole....thats for conspiracy nutjobs like you to believe.
