Apache's and Blackhawks are pretty distinctive. Once you've heard them there is no mistaking it. Not as iconic as the old two bladed huey's "wop" "wop" , but once you've heard it it's super easy to pick out.

I live near an airport and hear traffic of all kinds, and the Apache's are the easiest to distinguish. There are some stationed at RDU airport, and have been for 10-12 years at least. I used to see them daily, but it seems like not as often any more. I believe they are not "D" Longbows yet. Still original types.
