I saw both at Farnborough '98 and I did get the impression that the Eurofighter's manoeuvers were more impressive but that the display wasn't as well put together as it could have been. I still think the Mirage 2000 has one of the best displays (and better than the Rafale) but that doesn't mean that it's a better plane.

You should also keep in mind that the Typhoon prototypes are all 85% load planes meaning that the production versions will have about 15% more ability.
