I'd bet that giving up technology probably wouldn't have gone as easily as it was shown on TV too.. I don't think it would be that unanimous.
I had a problem with Adm. Adama never seeing his son or Tigh again, I can't really accept that given everything that has happened.. So what? he built a cabin and lived alone 'til he died? wtf. And what happened with Apollo? So much for becoming a lawyer? I guess Tyrol was the actual 'King of Scots' or something.. How exactly did Starbuck 'Lead the human race to its end?'.. Did it mean that she sent the kickass part of humanity to its end so they could breed with some primatives? Just seems like going from where they were to what they became was a huge downgrade.

It' was actually a really solid show, especially for people who know a thing or two about aviation and military protocol, like us. You should check it out sometime. |

I know, and at 42 minutes a week I was practically spending my whole life watching that show. Good thing I've never spent more than 42 minutes a week doing other nerdy things, like posting on a Fighter Planes forum for example.

I havent watched it apart from the first episode, which seemed pretty rubbish and what you'd naturally expect from a Battlestar Galactica episode.
